Gulf for Good

Gulf for Good
Based in Dubai, Gulf for Good is a charity that raises money for causes through adventure travel challenges.

In 2002, Gulf for Good began supporting Himalayan HealthCare. That year, Gulf for Good sponsored a fund-raising trek to Everest Base Camp, during which forty-one international volunteers raised $130,000 for the HHC Ilam community hospital project. These funds were critical to HHC's ability to complete construction of the Ilam hospital.

In October 2004, Gulf for Good sponsored a second Everest trek, again in support of the HHC Ilam community Hospital. To find out more about Gulf for Good and their many adventure treks, please visit their website.

All net proceeds from the handicraft sales are used to fund primary health care, medical and educational projects, giving to those involved in the production process a sense of pride that comes by helping and sustaining many others, in even greater need than themselves.
